What is TSD Rallying ?
In TSD Rallying, the object is to maintain precise times and precise average speeds through various elements of a predefined route. The speed ask is low and never in excess of 45 KMPH except on highways. Each team – usually consisting of a drive and a navigator – start fixed intervals so that every one is racing against the clock.
Which car do I need to participate / Do I need special vehicle to participate ?
Any car that is in complete working condition and road legal can be used for this event. By road legal we mean , if the government allows it to be driven on Indian roads, we allow it to be used in the rally. No special modifications are required for this rally. So whether it’s a Maruti 800 or an SUV, all are welcome. A high ground clearance is always welcome on tracks and back roads.
Help. I am a newbie and do not know how to navigate!!
All rally competitors will be using Virtual Marshal app and for all “AMATEUR” participants will see path to be followed on their app screen. Much like Goggle maps navigation from start to finish.
This will be only available to AMATEUR group of participants and they can practice road bok reading with help of this support.
Where will this rally be held ?
In the three days the rally takes you around Agra, Yamuna & Chambal ravines, the back road of Agra and Bundelkhand, all the way tp Jhansi and back to Agra. Lot of new area around the sangam of Yamuna and Chambal rivers is being covered by the rally for the first time. The rally ends in a grand prize distribution ceremony over drinks and dinner.
Will there be any training or practice?
There would be a test “Road Book” released on Thursday February 19, 2026 along with Virtual Marshal controls. The test would remain open for the whole day and all participant can do the test, even multiple times, as per their convenience.
The organizers would be available for any question answer / query resolution at the venue announced for pre-scrutiny and documentation.
How many people in a car? Or on a bike?
Only a crew of two people in a car or a single rider on bike is allowed. All entrants must have a valid driving license. Additionally the organizers will take out a collective group policy for third party cover.
It is strongly recommended for all to have medical insurance with hospitalization cover.
What are the prizes for winning ?
There are categories for experts and novices as well as special classes for all women and drivers from Agra. In addition there is cash prize money for professional participants to be won too!!
How timing will be done?
The rally will use a mix or manual and virtual controls – both time and passage – to record the passage of competitors. Based on these records the TSD results would be computed for ranking.
